Crucial Information on Health

"Health is wealth" as the cliche goes, and this has even become more truthful these days because of the escalating cost of health care. Namely, hospital bills, vitamins and mineral supplements not to mention doctor's professional fees.

What makes this more costly is the fact that we are more susceptible to health problems due to the alarming rate of air and water pollution that we are constantly exposed. In addition to this, we commonly bombard ourselves with chemically laden food such as meat products saturated with antibiotics, growth hormones, vegetables and fruits grown with various chemical fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides. Likewise, we are now consuming more processed food (eg. canned goods, cold cuts, instant meals etc.) which contain more chemical preservatives and less vital nutrients that our bodies much needed. Sadly, these may lead to untimely demise in some unfortunate cases.

The rate of life-threatening diseases such as cancer, diabetes, heart disease, hypertension, have now risen to very alarming rates. Even minor health conditions such as skin problems, fatigue, migraine, insomnia, constipation, coughs, colds, allergies, arthritis, rheumatism and the like have spread dramatically over recent years. These health conditions attack all ages and all walks of life, rich and poor. It is because of this that people are now becoming more and more health conscious. People are starting to eat healthier and exercise more these days, as well as consume more food supplements. These food supplements are either chemical based or natural based which are known to contain various types of vitamins and minerals to counter the ongoing onslaught of health problems that are now plaguing society.

But what most people do not realize is that all these nutrients (vitamins and minerals) and health food cannot be fully absorbed by our bodies without enzymes.
